I was asked to concept, model and texture an enemy unit which would drop eggs on the battlefield by Cablehook Games, for their game: Here comes the swarm. The final idea we came up with was a bug that would open its shell, and would spray eggs from its exposed fleshy innards. The model also features masking (the red parts) so colors can be changed. Because the camera distance in game (RTS view), the level of detail on the model is kept relatively modest to avoid turning it into noise.
